Important Notice Regarding CALDAC Convention Tickets

We want to ensure a safe and secure experience for all our attendees. Please be aware of potential scammers selling unauthorized tickets to the CALDAC convention. To avoid being scammed, only purchase tickets directly through our official channels. If you are considering buying a ticket from a third party, you must email us first at info@caldac.org to verify its authenticity. Your safety is our top priority, and we appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a trusted and secure event for everyone.

How to Spot a Potential Scammer

To help you identify potential scammers when purchasing tickets to the CALDAC convention, here are some key warning signs to watch out for:

1. Unusually Low Prices: If someone is offering tickets at a price significantly lower than what’s advertised on our official site, it’s likely a scam.

2. Pressure to Buy Quickly: Scammers often create a false sense of urgency, pushing you to make a quick decision. If someone is rushing you, take a step back.

3. Unverified Sellers: Always be cautious of individuals selling tickets on social media, online marketplaces, or other unofficial platforms.

4. No Proof of Purchase: If the seller cannot provide a receipt, confirmation email, or other proof of their purchase, it's a red flag.

5. Suspicious Payment Methods: Be wary if the seller requests payment through methods that offer little protection, such as wire transfers, gift cards, or peer-to-peer apps like Venmo or Cash App.

6. Inconsistent or Vague Information: If the seller is unable or unwilling to provide clear details about the tickets (such as the seat location, event date, etc.), they might be a scammer.

7. Unprofessional Communication: Poor grammar, unusual email addresses, or overly casual communication may indicate a scammer.

8. Too Good to Be True: If an offer seems too good to be true, it probably is. Trust your instincts.

What to Do If You Suspect a Scam
